Youth Initiative Fund is a registered non-governmental and non-profit organization based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, dedicated to empowering youth, women, and communities through entrepreneurship education, vocational skills training, life skills development, and sustainable economic empowerment initiatives.

Our Story
Youth Initiative Fund was established in response to the growing need for practical education, economic empowerment, and sustainable development opportunities for young people and women in Tanzania.
Many individuals possess the determination and creativity to improve their lives but lack access to the skills, knowledge, and support systems needed to turn their ambitions into reality. Recognizing this challenge, our organization was founded to bridge that gap through high-quality training, mentorship, and community development programs.
Over the years, Youth Initiative Fund has expanded its work to include entrepreneurship development, vocational skills training, financial literacy, leadership development, community capacity building, and support for savings groups such as VICOBA and SACCOS.
Today, we continue working with communities, local leaders, government institutions, development partners, and the private sector to create sustainable solutions that improve livelihoods and strengthen communities across Tanzania.
